CHARTROOM DERBY / AT THE TABLE

Everything in its place.

Learn the role of each component before following the route: position, instruction, active condition or collected value.

Markers for separate crews

The four boat designs distinguish up to four crews, with a round supporting two to four. Each chosen boat begins at a separate buoy. Neither its colour nor its sculpted appearance grants a special advantage at departure.

A boat is attractive scenery and a precise position marker at the same time. Leave enough room around the harbour route for everyone to see which mark lies beneath it, even while examining the miniature details.

Instructions and active conditions

The catch deck is organised around Anchor, Comet and Drift. A separate marker shows when Scatter is active for the group. Beside the route, the Bonus Dock keeps its available choices exposed until a qualifying boat selects one.

Keep a card near the action being explained so its wording can be checked. The illustration helps identify the subject, but a painted detail does not add a new instruction beyond the rule that is actually printed.

Recognise what will be counted

Collected coins and bonus chips contribute their marked values to the final count. Wait until every boat reaches the Trophy Lamp before counting them together. A piece’s size, colour or picture is not a substitute for its stated number.

These component images describe an imagined tabletop setting. They do not advertise stock, packaging or a purchasable edition. Use them to understand the concept’s objects and their different roles during a shared round.
