CHARTROOM DERBY / AT THE TABLE

At the Bonus Dock, choose once.

The Bonus Dock is reached by an exact move; a boat sailing past has not earned a dock action.

Confirm the exact destination first

Check the boat’s destination against the Bonus Dock before offering its choices. Only a move that ends precisely there qualifies. Passing over the dock cannot be converted into a visit, saved for later or claimed from a nearby space.

Display the dock choices together and let the arriving crew select a single option. Carry that instruction through to completion, then gather the alternatives back into their place before the following turn starts.

Choose between four separate effects

The four options have separate jobs. Fresh Lure replaces one hand card; Gold Cup leaves a score chip available for counting. Route View reveals the next marked harbour zone. Quiet Pass avoids a Scatter read while assisting another crew.

Use the wording on the chosen option to settle its effect. Taking one dock action does not entitle the crew to combine the remaining options, trade repeatedly or invent another stock of supplies to spend.

Leave the dock result settled

After applying the choice, briefly identify the changed card, chip or information. Keep the pieces accessible to the other crews. If the route’s clearing condition applies to an active event, resolve that marker before continuing ordinary play.

The dock can be useful without producing a dramatic swing. A limited, clearly explained decision gives the arriving crew a moment of choice while keeping the rest of the harbour round moving.
